Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Model Based System Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable software modules and cloud infrastructure in Cameo/Magic Draw, using SysML and UML to model complex C4ISR-enabled systems.

You will drive system architecture, ensure interoperability across platforms and third‑party services, oversee requirements traceability, and coordinate with executives, product managers, and engineering teams to align roadmaps with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 5+ years of experience.
• Active TS Clearance.
• Background supporting Ground Systems, Radar Systems, C4ISR Systems, C2 systems, or other related system-of-systems.
• Proven experience using CAMEO, SysML, or other modeling tools to design integrated software and hardware systems.
• Understanding of Agile processes as used for software development efforts.

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Model Based System Engineer with experience using MBSE tools to design and build Command and Control enabled systems, which are being rapidly developed from prototype stages to be fielded. This individual will lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable software modules and integrated cloud infrastructure in Cameo/Magic Draw environment in both SysML and UML.

Other duties

• System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable software modules and integrated cloud infrastructure in Cameo/Magic Draw environment in both SysML and UML.
• Interoperability & Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange, communication, and synchronization across platforms, cloud environments, and third-party services.
• Requirements Traceability: Link system requirements directly to software components, functional allocations, and verification test constructs.
• Collaborative Environment Management: Utilize repository tools like Teamwork Cloud for multi-user configuration control and digital thread integration.
• Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Guide engineering teams through technical interchanges and tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, stakeholders, the chief engineer, the lead systems engineer, product managers, and individual system engineering teams to align technical roadmaps with organizational objectives.
• Cross-Domain Integration: Ensure software interacts efficiently with systems, databases, and external interfaces.

Hourly: 71-78/hrSalary: 155,000-180,000
