Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Architect with a background in Command and Control, Missile Defense, or Fires Systems. • Expertise in system architectures, MBSE modeling, and system-of-systems integration.
• Experience working with senior leadership and government stakeholders in classified environments.

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Architect with a background in Command and Control, Missile Defense, or Fires Systems. As the Systems Architect, you will provide oversight and expertise in the design, development, and integration of sophisticated system of systems being fielded rapidly. This position will lead cross-functional engineering teams, partner with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with program goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will bring technical depth, leadership skills, and a track record of designing and developing solutions for classified Command and Control (C2) systems.

Duties:

• Architectural Design: Define the overarching framework, principles, and standards for how multiple independent systems interact and share data.
• Interoperability & Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange, communication, and synchronization across platforms, cloud environments, and third-party services.
• Requirements Traceability: Link system requirements directly to software components, functional allocations, and verification test constructs.
• Collaborative Environment Management: Utilize repository tools like Teamwork Cloud for multi-user configuration control and digital thread integration.
• Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Guide engineering teams through technical interchanges and tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, stakeholders, the chief engineer, the lead systems engineer, product managers, and individual system engineering teams to align technical roadmaps with organizational objectives.
• Risk & Trade-off Analysis: Evaluate system performance, security vulnerabilities, and potential bottlenecks; conduct trade studies to optimize reliability and cost.

Hourly: 91-104/hrSalary: 200,000-220,000

Skills and Requirements

• Active TSSCI Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• Proficient in SysML/UML, CAMEO, or DOORS for requirements and modeling
• Understanding of DODAF
• Proven experience with applying System Engineering V principles in large Agile programs (ACAT 1, II, III) experience
• Experience with the full systems development lifecycle, including requirements derivation, system design, and verification/validation testing.
• Expertise in system architectures, MBSE modeling techniques, and system-of-systems integration.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership and government stakeholders in classified environments.
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools.
• Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools.
