Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a Systems Engineer to join the MDAM team in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will refine system designs, develop software for defense applications, and participate in testing as programs evolve.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, 3+ years in system engineering, and proficiency with Cameo/MagicDraw or Rhapsody. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM/engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of full-time system engineering or related roles.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and modeling concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand detailed system specifications to refactor combat system design for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop software meeting rigorous certification standards and validation processes.
• Participate in testing and rearchitecting of the system as the program evolves.
• Execute complex system stress tests and model/evaluate weapon system behavior using industry tools.
• Calculate and analyze probabilistic combat system performance measures for live-fire scenarios.
