Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Systems Engineer with 5+ years of experience to embed with a software development team.

You will develop requirements, write and execute test plans, and conduct extensive testing of software and systems in development. You will work within cloud-based infrastructure, perform demonstrations for customers, and support the software development lifecycle across multiple platforms, including uncrewed systems.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required
• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from ABET-preferred college in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or hard sciences with 5+ years experience
• Team player; creative, adaptive and eager to learn
• Experience with writing technical requirements
• Experience writing and executing test plans
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and related tools
• Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance or higher
• Position Location: Huntsville, AL
• CONUS travel <20%

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized, testable requirements based on customer input
• Perform testing and documentation for software applications
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and tooling
• Demonstrate and interface with customers to ensure product meets goals
• Attend test events and generate test artifacts
• Support software development teams throughout the SDLC
• Other duties as assigned
