Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment in the Engineering industry, focusing on defense industry projects. The successful candidate will oversee the entire life cycle of system development and implementation, provide technical guidance to the engineering team, and ensure all projects meet defense industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of interface control documents, DoD Defense planning manufacturing, VCRM, functional analysis, and the ability to translate requirements into hardware and software specifications. The ability to solve complex problems is a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire life cycle of system development and implementation, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure all projects adhere to defense industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain interface control documents, utilizing expertise in DoD Defense planning manufacturing and VCRM.
• Conduct functional analysis and translate requirements into hardware and software specifications, ensuring all system components meet the needs of the end-user.
• Solve complex problems, utilizing analytical skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering industry, with a focus on the defense sector.
• Extensive experience with interface control documents, DoD Defense planning manufacturing, and VCRM.
• Proven track record in system development and implementation.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to complex challenges.
