Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Subcontracts Manager to own the full subcontract lifecycle for major programs, from source selection to closeout, under FAR Part 44. You will lead negotiations, risk assessment, and CPSR‑compliant purchasing processes in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, and Program Management.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and DoD security clearance eligibility, with detailed focus on flowdowns, cost‑price analysis, and supplier governance in a fast‑paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years subcontract administration in a federal contracting environment.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS flowdowns and cost/price analysis.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 44, CPSR, and consent-to-subcontract requirements.
• Experience with contractual flowdowns and supplier compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk management and governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own full subcontract lifecycle for major and complex subcontracts.
• Draft and negotiate subcontract terms, price, deliverables, and schedule.
• Prepare FAR/DFARS documentation and cost/price analyses.
• Ensure flowdowns and compliance with government requirements.
• Maintain CPSR-compliant purchasing system and audit-ready files.
• Onboard, qualify, and assess suppliers; manage risk.
• Coordinate supplier cybersecurity, quality, and regulatory reviews.
• Develop supplier scorecards and lead audits/remediation.
