Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a highly motivated SW Release Manager to define and manage major software releases across product variants for safety and mission-critical systems.

You will collaborate with system engineers, translate requirements into release plans, and ensure timely delivery of artifacts and documentation. The role requires DoD SDLC familiarity, CI/CD expertise, and the ability to communicate updates to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a software release process.
• Experience with GitHub, CircleCI and other DevOps tools.
• Proven track record deploying production software with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong coding skills and automated test coverage (on-device and cloud).
• Proficient in C++, Rust, or Go; Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiar with DoD SDLC, MIL-STD-882, STIGs, DevSecOps for DoD.
• Ability to present updates to stakeholders at all levels.
• U.S. Person status required to access export data; DoD security clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into release plans and deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of release artifacts and supporting docs.
• Improve release and quality processes.
• Coordinate deployment of development releases to test/eval teams.
• Implement automated testing and deployment in CI/CD environments.
• Use Git and CI automations for nightly builds and checks.
• Develop SITL and HITL tests to validate system performance.
