Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking a Release Manager to own end-to-end software release processes for EW products across multiple hardware platforms and variants. You will ensure releases ship on schedule with quality gates and clear stakeholder communication.

The role coordinates embedded software, mission software, test, and operations; manages build packages, release notes, and documentation; and drives CI/CD improvements and deployment tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in release management or related technical program role.
• Experience owning release processes for products with multiple hardware and software variants.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and version control.
• Ability to read and understand code changes and explain release rationale.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, test, and operations teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder briefings.
• Experience with Linux development and deployment environments.
• Familiarity with DoD software ecosystem and compliance practices.
• Eligible for active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute software release process across hardware platforms and product variants.
• Define and manage release plans aligned with milestones and commitments.
• Coordinate across embedded software, mission software, test, and operations teams.
• Manage release artifacts including build packages, release notes, and known issues.
• Communicate release status, timelines, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.
• Drive improvements to release processes, quality gates, and automation.
• Coordinate deployment of development and candidate releases to test teams.
• Work with QA to ensure adequate test coverage and go/no-go decisions.
• Improve CI/CD environment in collaboration with engineering.
• Support configuration management and traceability for deployed software.
• Travel up to 25% for integration events and deployments.
