Job summary

Crossroadsstaffing is seeking a senior federal contracts professional to identify, source, and secure defense contracts. You will leverage SAM.gov, DLA DIBBS, and PIEE to source opportunities and manage competitive proposals end-to-end.

The role requires 10+ years handling U.S. Government contracts, thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR and cybersecurity standards (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC), and strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Federal Government contracts.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and flow-downs.

Job Description

Responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing new business opportunities within Defense and other federal agency sectors. Your primary focus will be on leveraging government procurement platforms such as SAM.gov and DLA DIBBS to source contracts, prepare highly competitive proposals, and drive the growth of our defense business portfolio. You will ensure strict compliance with Department of Defense regulations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant bids. Act as the primary company administrator for SAM.gov. DLA DIBBS, and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment PIEE. Lead the end-to-end proposal process for defense contracts, including preparing, submitting, and tracking bids through government portals. Advise on FAR and DFARS requirements for all defense proposals and contract flow-downs. Ensure full company compliance with ITAR and cybersecurity standards NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Executive team. Joint Certification Program JCP DD2345 Dept of Defense Custodian Lead, manage, and maintain military-critical technical data compliance MCTD for company Act as the main point of contact with all federal contracting officers providing responsive communication. Maintain advanced knowledge of Department of Defense CLINSLIN requirements and apply this financial expertise directly to proposal development. Mentor and train junior team members on sourcing, proposal preparation, and defense contracting best practices.

Skills Required

10+ years of experience working with Federal Government contracts. Good understanding of U.S. Military supply chain and procurement processes. Familiarity with FAR and DFARS requirements, including applicable contract requirements and flow-downs.
