Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Project Engineering in Tempe, AZ to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team for advanced technologies across the Integrated Vision Solutions Sector. You will oversee engineering execution, planning, staffing, budget, schedules, and risk management through the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of experience (or a Graduate degree with 7+ years, or 12 years without a degree), strong leadership and collaboration abilities, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of prior related experience in Project Engineering.

Responsibilities

Program Planning, Guidance and Execution – develop the program execution schedule and monitor progress.
Bid & Proposal Support – identify scope, basis of estimates, and review bids with leadership.
Customer and Senior Leadership Interaction and Communication – communicate with customers and senior leadership on plans, status and issues.
