Job summary

Konik seeks a Program Manager to lead complex government and defense programs from proposal development through design, production, testing, and delivery in Minnesota. The role reports to leadership and interfaces with customers to ensure program success.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership of government programs, knowledge of federal acquisition requirements, and the ability to keep budgets, schedules, and deliverables on track in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of program management experience, incl. 3+ years leading programs.
• Experience managing DoD or federal contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR requirements and gov vs commercial execution.
• Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, risks, proposals, and communications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling tools like MS Project.
• U.S. Person status under ITAR (citizens, permanent residents, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead programs across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and related disciplines.
• Own program cost, schedule, technical performance, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary customer contact and coordinate reviews and decisions.
• Monitor schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare proposals and task orders with estimates and content.
• Plan and facilitate program meetings, design reviews, and testing activities.
• Provide clear program reports to leadership and stakeholders.
