Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Specialist, Program Management in Rochester, NY to lead cost, schedule, and technical performance for US DoD programs from proposal through period of performance completion.

You will coordinate engineering staffing, subcontractors, production, quality and facilities to meet internal and external delivery targets. Ideal candidates have defense/aerospace program management experience, manage multiple subcontractors and budgets over $5M, and can travel up to 20%

Qualifications

• Experience running programs in the Defense and Aerospace industry and managing contracts for the US DoD.
• Experience managing Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs.
• Experience managing complex integrated systems programs.
• Drive establishment and monitoring of KPIs related to cost, schedule, risk and technical performance across all life-cycle phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, schedule and technical performance for DoD programs from proposal to completion.
• Coordinate resources including engineering staffing, subcontractors, production, quality and facilities.
• Prepare and present project status, financials, and performance reports to stakeholders.
• Travel to customer locations as required (up to 20%).
• Negotiate contracts and contract changes as needed.
