Job summary

Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc. in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a Program Manager to oversee defense contract programs, serving as the primary liaison with government contracting officers and ensuring all technical, cost, and schedule requirements are met.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end program execution, managing cost/schedule performance, complying with FAR/DFAR/ITAR, and briefing senior leadership on status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance and US citizenship.
• Experience leading cross‑functional engineering teams (systems, mechanical, electrical, software).
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes and SETR.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution with schedules and metrics.
• Manage cost and schedule performance including DoD processes.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR/ITAR and ITAR-related regulations.
• Interface with government contracting officers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate credibility with customer via technical and military experience.
• Brief senior leadership on technical and financial statuses.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and QA.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and communicate with stakeholders.
