Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS), a division of EnerSys, seeks a Production Manager for a defense production environment. You will lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement.

Fluency in English and Spanish preferred; advanced technical degree with 8+ years in mixed high/low volume manufacturing; experience with soldering and testing and lean principles is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical mixed high/low volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience in managing production schedules with diverse products.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred for communication with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets.
• Plan, coordinate and control production activities to meet schedules.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise production supervisors and line-leads to ensure adherence to standard work.
• Monitor budgets and costs to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Sales, and HR to align production goals with business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and analyze performance data for optimization.
