Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services, Inc. seeks a Procurement Clerk to support the Sr. Procurement Analyst in acquiring materials, components, and services per corporate procedures and regulations.

The role involves daily interface with program management and suppliers, managing contracts and purchase orders, and ensuring procurement processes align with FAR/DFARS requirements. Office-based, limited travel may occur.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Secret security clearance.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant procurement experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and vendor relationship management.
• Direct experience with spreadsheet applications
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/NAICS

Responsibilities

• Interface with program management and suppliers daily.
• Oversee procure to pay process and inbound logistics for assigned suppliers.
• Place POs of medium to high complexity and manage high PO volume across programs.
• Organize and follow up on open purchase orders, quotes, and updates to meet dates.
• Solicit and award purchase orders in line with contract requirements.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies; assist Accounts Payable as needed.
• Prepare and compile purchase orders from information.
• Verify specifications of purchase requests and obtain prices and specs from catalogs and suppliers.
• Prepare invitations to bid and mail to supplier firms for public posting.
• Record prices, deliveries, and items purchased; perform other duties as assigned.
