• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of acquisition systems, policies, statutes, regulations, and compliance issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the procurement process including automation and procurement needs.
• Expert knowledge of the defense acquisition cycle and contract types/methods.
• Provide expert technical leadership, analysis, staff coordination, and consultation in procurement.
• Devise effective procurement strategies within guidelines and regulations.
• Utilize analytical, evaluation, and policy approaches to support staff on procurement subjects.
• Support unfamiliar subject areas to assist staff across procurement topics.
