Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks in line with industry standards and internal guidelines.
  • Perform reverse engineering of obsolete airborne and ground-based systems to support sustainment, upgrades, or replacement.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical or electromechanical systems using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Write and review technical documentation for users, systems, standards, processes, operations, products, and services.
  • Collaborate with project management, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support planning, scheduling, and milestones.
  • Work in lab spaces to facilitate fabrication, operation, installation, and repair of mechanical products.
  • Roles may vary based on candidate’s experience.
