Job summary

Anduril Industries in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the execution of Manufacturing Development Plan and PDP stage gate deliverables across AD&S programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with exposure to hardware development.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing engineering, production, or related role (co-op/internship counted).
• Exposure to hardware from design to production even if not leading it.
• Strong organizational skills to track multiple deliverables across programs.
• Willingness to engage cross-functionally from day one.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on hardware experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of MDP and PDP stage gate deliverables for manufacturing across AD&S programs under guidance.
• Coordinate with PPMs, PMs, Chief Engineers, and ME managers to prepare stage gate decks and presentations.
• Track stage gate action items, risks, and manufacturing readiness gaps; report status to the team.
• Review ME stage gate content, flag gaps, and coordinate with programs to address them.
• Coordinate across multiple programs with differing timelines to keep deliverables on track.
• Represent Manufacturing Engineering in design trades, quality investigations, supply chain, and operations discussions.
