Quest Group Executive Search and Staffing Solutions is partnering with a prominent Am Law 100 law firm in Tampa to seek an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in eDiscovery and trial support. The role requires coordinating complex discovery and trial preparation while navigating federal and state court procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation paralegal experience, expertise in Relativity/Opus2, and a relevant ABA-approved

• Extensive eDiscovery experience, including establishing ESI protocols.
• Demonstrated trial experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and electronic filing.
• Experience with Relativity and Opus2 or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support from pre-claim through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Manage all phases of eDiscovery, including document collection, review, production workflows, and compliance.
• Coordinate with eDiscovery professionals on Relativity databases and production protocols.
• Navigate federal and state court procedures and electronic filing requirements.
• Draft litigation documents such as notices of appearance, motions, and subpoenas.
• Organize case files, exhibits, and trial presentation materials, ensuring confidentiality.

Our client, a prominent Am Law 100 law firm with a strong national presence, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Tampa team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation professional with extensive eDiscovery expertise, substantial trial experience, and a strong understanding of federal and state court procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing complex litigation matters, supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, and coordinating sophisticated discovery and trial preparation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support from pre-claim investigation and discovery through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Manage all phases of eDiscovery, including establishing ESI protocols, coordinating document collection and review, managing production workflows, and ensuring compliance with discovery obligations.
• Coordinate with eDiscovery professionals to establish and maintain Relativity databases, tagging criteria, document review processes, and production protocols.
• Navigate federal and state court procedures, filing requirements, and electronic filing systems.
• Draft and prepare litigation documents, including notices of appearance, motions, deposition notices, subpoenas, and other routine court filings.
• Manage discovery requests and responses, privilege logs, document production, Bates labeling, redactions, and quality control.
• Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibit and witness binders, deposition summaries, designations, and coordination with court reporters and videographers.
• Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Organize and maintain case files, electronic documents, exhibits, witness lists, and trial presentation materials.
• Utilize litigation support platforms, including Relativity and Opus2, to manage documents, deposition materials, and case information.
• Track litigation calendars, court deadlines, discovery schedules, expert disclosures, and trial dates.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, expert witnesses, court personnel, and internal teams while maintaining confidentiality and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Extensive eDiscovery experience, including establishing ESI protocols.
• Demonstrated trial experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, and electronic filing requirements.
• Experience with Relativity and Opus2 or comparable litigation support platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex discovery, document review, production, and trial preparation.
• Strong drafting, proofreading, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters, competing deadlines, and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-service orientation.
• Bachelor's degree with ABA-approved paralegal certification, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, preferred.
• Hybrid work arrangement available as performance and billable-hour expectations are met.
• Annual billable-hour target of 1,500 hours.
