Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing case files, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process, including trial preparation. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, manage, and organize case files throughout all stages of litigation, including trial preparation.
- Review and organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
- Conduct legal research to support case proceedings.
- Draft and review legal documents, including Complaints, Discovery, Motions, and more.
- Handle e-filing in all courts and manage case deadlines, hearings, and meetings.
- Categorize, interpret, and summarize information from clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize high-volume work under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of motions, electronic discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to getting the job done.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal highly desired; minimum of 4 years of experience in Business & Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, Construction, Insurance Defense, or Professional Liability.
