Job summary

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP seeks a Defense Litigation Attorney in our Charlotte office. The ideal candidate defends bodily injury matters across general and product liability, with a focus on gig economy cases.

You will manage cases end-to-end, interact with clients directly, and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Requirements include a JD from an ABA-accredited school, NC license, and 2–8 years of civil defense experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina.
• 2–8 years of litigation experience across general/bodily injury defense and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff in a team-oriented environment.
• Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial.
• Develop case strategies aligned with client objectives and goals.
• Maintain regular client communication with timely updates and recommendations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Evaluate liability and damages and assist in settlements when appropriate.
