Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois license to practice law.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Cook County and/or collar counties preferred.
• Defense litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
• Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and written discovery.
• Attend court hearings, conferences and other proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned written work.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and members of the firm.
