Airdo Werwas, LLC, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its dynamic, nationally‑recognized practice. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of civil litigation experience, particularly defending complex healthcare‑related claims, including professional liability, institutional negligence, regulatory‑adjacent disputes, and high‑exposure tort matters. Candidates with directly relevant experience will be given priority, but those with strong litigation skills in other areas who are interested in transitioning to civil defense of long‑term care providers, nonprofit entities, and similar clients are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Firm

Our firm focuses on the defense of complex litigation across a wide range of practice areas, including general and complex tort matters, healthcare liability, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation. We also maintain an active municipal and local government practice and advise clients on real estate development and other transactional matters. In addition, we are privileged to serve as National Coordinating Counsel for nonprofit and religious organizations throughout the country.

Minimum Qualifications

1. J.D. from ABA accredited law school, with strong academic credentials.
2. 3 to 7 years of hands‑on litigation experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Defend and litigate general and complex tort matters, both locally and nationally.
2. Draft, prepare, and handle pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda.
3. Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions.
4. Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency.
5. Prepare and take depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
6. Report directly to clients on all aspects of matters, including case evaluations and status reports.
7. Assist with and participate in court appearances, mediations, and trials.

Job Type: Full-time 1,950 Billable Time Requirement
