Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Mechanical Architect to join the Missile Architecture team. The role spans Development, Obsolescence, In Service Support and Hardware coordination, reporting to the Lead Mechanical Architect, with focus on requirements, problem solving, verification and certification.

Based across Stevenage and Bolton, the team collaborates on a high-profile programme; hybrid working 3 days on-site. A Mechanical/Aerospace degree and experience in design, stress/thermal analysis and product

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical design, stress/thermal analysis, and product certification.
• Proactive stakeholder engagement and clear reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Development and Obsolescence of mechanical systems.
• Hardware Co-ordination across a multi-discipline team.
• In Service Support and process improvement across projects.
