Babcock is seeking a capable Mechanical Engineer to join our full engineering lifecycle team with hybrid working arrangements. You will produce engineering designs, technical documentation and assessments to support complex projects, from concept through to implementation, while ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, design reviews, hazard studies and rigorous problem solving.

Qualifications

• Essential: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Desirable: progress towards professional registration
• Experience with CAD, engineering analysis or fluid systems design
