Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical engineering technology or related field.
• 3+ years in electrical components sustaining or test engineering, preferably in defense/aerospace.
• Familiarity with military standards and defense procurement regulations.
• Strong analytical abilities to review test data and reports.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of obsolescence management, derating, and environmental compliance.
• This role requires US Person or eligible to obtain export authorization.

Responsibilities

• Support all obsolescence management activities and propose alternatives for mature or obsolete parts.
• Collaborate with design, procurement and QA to resolve obsolescence, sourcing and cost issues.
• Liaise with approved suppliers to ensure part availability and cost-efficiency.
• Review and mitigate counterfeit part risks through vetting and compliance processes.
• Monitor long-term supply chain risks related to components.
• Generate obsolescence reports for customer approval.
• Generate test documentation to satisfy contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
