Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati is seeking an Assembly A to support defense-related electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will read assembly instructions, build components, perform wiring and hand soldering, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work with precision tools, and teamwork in a regulated environment. On-site 4/10 schedule with potential for additional training and security clearances if required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of related experience.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience in electronics/electro-mechanical assembly preferred.
• ITAR/EAR compliance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and execute assembly instructions from DOM and docs.
• Assemble components using hand tools and automated equipment.
• Perform wiring, hand soldering, and cable harnessing per procedures.
• Inspect components for defects and verify conformance to specs.
• Complete assembly and quality records accurately and timely.
• Participate in GEMBA meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
• Follow ITAR/EAR and other export control regulations as required.
• Potential to work with explosive materials in a regulated environment.
