Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMD in Cheswick, PA is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the Defense Business Segment. The role administers contracts and required changes, ensuring compliance with government and commercial requirements, while leading proposal development and negotiations.

You will interact with customers as the primary contact, manage pricing proposals, and ensure adherence to corporate contract principles. A U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Law, or other related field.
• 0-3 years of applicable contract experience.
• Government or Commercial Nuclear contracts experience preferred.
• Negotiation Experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge of MS office
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines
• Strong problem solving and analytical skill

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned contracts and changes, ensuring compliance with government and/or commercial contract requirements.
• Lead proposal development activities, data compilation, analysis and pricing proposals in response to customer requests.
• Draft and issue large proposals with limited supervision.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategy with management.
• Lead discussions on functional topics within internal team.
• Maintain solid relationships with customers as primary contact and resolve issues.
• Review ERP contract inputs and their interrelationships with other modules.
