Provide Navy client with legislative and Congressional support throughout the annual Defense Authorization and Appropriations process. Provide analysis to support the development and implementation of Navy and Marine Corps strategy and policy . Analyze risk-based strategies for legislative processes and planning. Analyze and track metrics for strategy implementation. Provide analysis to identify, define, and close requirements using the legislative process.

You Have
  • 3+ years of experience with working in a professional environment
  • Experience with Congressional or legislative affairs and the Congressional Authorization and Appropriations process, the DoD legislative process, and working around senior Congressional staff and DoD or Navy offi cia ls
  • Experience with regular direct client interactions, including supporting project delivery, delivering presentations, and leading client meetings
  • Experience with using Micro sof t Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Auditing Agencies such as GAO
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to track and comprehend acquisition and procurement goals as they move through the legislative cycle and plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal direction
  • Secret clearance

  • Experience with reviewing and drafting Reclamas to Congressional Defense Committees as part of annual Authorization and Appropriations process

  • Experience with Navy staff or Defense, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command ( COCOM ) staff
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
