Continuous Composites is seeking a Composite Application Engineer to develop, optimize, and implement advanced CF3D® composite solutions for aerospace and defense. You will bridge customer requirements with our manufacturing system through toolpath development, real-time process optimization, and hands-on shop floor execution to deliver high-performance parts.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or applications engineering role in composites or aerospace.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or Catia).
Proven track record of solving complex customer problems.
Strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and aerospace/defense applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to capture technical requirements and translate them into CF3D® process solutions.
Design and optimize application-specific processes, including material selection, toolpaths, and print parameters.
Create and optimize production tooling, fixtures and molds for CF3D® printing.
Monitor real-time printing, fiber placement, layup, cure profiles to identify improvements and reduce defects.
Provide hands-on technical support and deploy CF3D® systems on site.
Lead application-focused projects from concept to completion with cross-functional teams.
Develop training materials and documentation for customers and internal teams.
