Brown Sims invites an Associate Attorney to join our Defense Base Act team. You will manage a high-volume caseload, draft pleadings and discovery, and work closely with supervising shareholders across a dynamic federal workers' compensation practice.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in litigation, workers' compensation, or related practice area.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with supervision.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery and develop discovery plans.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues in federal workers' compensation.
• Develop litigation plans and strategies with supervising attorneys.
• Prepare client reports and communicate case updates to stakeholders.
