Segal McCambridge invites an Associate Attorney to join its national litigation team in a fully remote capacity, with optional office work across the country. This role offers exposure to high-stakes civil defense matters, including toxic tort, premises, product, and general liability defense.

You will draft pleadings, argue motions, depose witnesses, manage discovery, and appear in court under the guidance of seasoned partners.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 1–6 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
• Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, argue motions, and conduct depositions.
• Manage discovery and court appearances for high-stakes cases.
• Support case strategy and collaborate with partners.
