Job summary

Chi-Chack LLC seeks a Spouse Training Program Instructor for the Joint Military Attache School (JMAS). The role designs and delivers STP lessons, coordinates guest lecturers, and ensures instructional quality in line with JMAS standards.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in federal government settings, with a focus on adult learning and education. On-site duties at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• One complete tour as the spouse of an Attache/Defense Liaison Officer/OPSCO.
• Minimum five years of experience in federal government environments.
• Experience in an educational or training context with emphasis on adult learning.

Responsibilities

• Instruct with authority over Defense Attaché Service topics.
• Design, publish and present instructional lessons meeting SOPs and standards; coordinate guest lecturers.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to STP students on spouse roles and concerns.
• Serve as a Course Director to administer and evaluate blocks of instruction in the STP curriculum.
• Coordinate with off-site exercises; schedule trainings and maintain contact information.
• Review and adjust educational resources before each class iteration.
• Coordinate with exercise Role Players and JMAS Faculty; assess performance against objectives.
• Conduct faculty after-action reviews within 24 hours of off-site exercises.
• Maintain exercise folders per JMAS policy and procedures.
• Liaise with Defense Attaché Service Field Support Branch and IC agencies on dependents issues.
• Support accreditation efforts with COE/IACET and other bodies.
• Assist in registration, attendance, and security paperwork for STP students.
• Plan and execute the Young Diplomats Program and other collaborations.
