Job summary

Cherokee Preting is seeking an Attaché Training Program Instructor to design, publish, and present lessons for Joint Military Attaché School (JMAS) students in accordance with SOPs and standards. The ATP Instructor must command the full range of Defense Attaché Service topics with authority.

The role includes directing courses, mentoring students, coordinating guest lectures, and ensuring alignment with JMAS accreditation and ATP standards at an on-site location in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in DoD environments.
• Successful completion of at least one tour in the Defense Attaché Service.

Responsibilities

• Design, publish, and present instructional lessons for JMAS students.
• Coordinate guest lectures and ensure materials meet JMAS standards.
• Serve as Seminar Director and mentor JMAS students.
• Act as Course Director to administer, evaluate, and synchronize ATP curriculum blocks.
• Coordinate with outside agencies for lessons and exercises.
• Review and adjust all exercise-related materials before each class iteration.
• Assess Role Players against learning objectives and provide feedback.
• Conduct faculty after-action reviews within 24 hours of off-site exercises.
