Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Systems Engineer to support Marine Corps programs at Quantico, VA, focusing on MDA platforms and reconnaissance tech. You will conduct systems engineering reviews, develop and test solutions, and coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure performance.

Active DoD clearance preferred. The role involves developing engineering documentation, supporting TE/SE reviews, and interfacing with the Program Office while advancing acquisition best practices and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years systems engineering experience (2 additional years may substitute for degree).
• Experience with requirements definition and traceability, formulating design methodology, documentation origination, systems integration and testing to verify required performance, or assessment of change proposals for technical merit.
• Experience providing recommendations to government leadership on actions they can take within specific tasks/programs to meet operational requirements.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project).

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering support to PAE Marine Corps and relevant joint stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of MDA platforms to the fleet.
• Provide subject matter expertise in acquisition engineering best practices.
• Develop, update, and maintain engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Technical Review Action Plans, and Interface Control Documents.
• Interface with the Program Office to manage an engineering task tracker.
• Analyze technical problems, develop courses of action and present recommendations to leadership on solutions.
• Support the execution of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews by preparing documentation, reviewing criteria, and preparing and presenting briefing material.
• Support the Engineering Change Proposal process and complete the required forms.
• Support the Test & Evaluation process to verify required performance.
