Job summary

MANTECH in Stafford, VA seeks a Test Engineer to support Marine Corps Systems Command, ensuring requirements are validated, tested, and documented across the program lifecycle.

The role focuses on maintaining the RTM, coordinating test planning with centers and stakeholders, and contributing to test strategies, procedures, and TRRs. A DoD background and active clearance are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of related experience in test engineering; an additional 2 years may be substituted.
• Experience coordinating test planning and execution across test centers, program stakeholders, and systems engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience developing and reviewing test documentation, including test strategies, plans, procedures, and entry/exit criteria.
• Strong analytical capability to analyze test execution data, identify defects, and document performance findings.
• Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office Tools.

Responsibilities

• Review RTM to ensure system requirements are traced to verification methods, test events, test procedures, and results.
• Coordinate with applicable test centers, program stakeholders, system engineering personnel, contractors, and other test organizations to support test planning and execution.
• Support the validation of system requirements across all test phases.
• Assist with the development and review of test strategies, test plans, test procedures, test schedules, entry/exit criteria, and required test documentation.
• Analyze test results to assess system performance against approved requirements.
• Participate in Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and stakeholder briefings to report test execution progress and evaluation results.
