Job summary

Revolve is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate in California to minimize monetary losses from defective merchandise by identifying the most effective defect recovery processes. The role involves inspecting apparel, non-apparel items, and communicating with vendors to secure credits or replacements when defects are found.

The candidate should have QA/QC or warehouse experience, be proficient in Excel/Word/Email, and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC, Production or Warehouse environments.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Email.
• Knowledge of fashion garment construction or fabrication preferred.
• Physically able to stand and walk for the full shift; tolerate extreme temperatures and noise.

Responsibilities

• Minimize monetary loss of defective merchandise including apparel, shoes, accessories and beauty.
• Identify the most effective defect recovery process for each item – RA, Restore, Sellable Defect, Other.
• Identify defects by inspecting defective merchandise of apparel and non-apparel items.
• Clearly communicate with vendors regarding defective and unacceptable merchandise.
• Aggressively negotiate credit or replacement merchandise for defects with vendors.
• Establish and maintain rapport with vendors through positive and consistent communications.
• Assist in other areas in department as needed.
