• Maintain equipment, materials and supplies in good condition.
• Comply with MSDS and safety regulations; attend safety training.
• Perform custodial duties and special projects as assigned.

SummaryUnder the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Deep Clean Technician will perform a variety of cleaning duties such as: pressure washing, hard floor restoration, specialized cleaning and heavy-duty cleaning of the kitchen and restaurants. The Deep Clean Technician will also be required to use electrically powered equipment. Responsibilities may also include performing the full range of assigned custodial duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Perform floor cleaning, sanitization and maintenance (i.e. pressure washing, sweeping, moping, scrubbing, striping, waxing and polishing).Obtain and exercise specialized knowledge of the methods and techniques for cleaning a variety of floor surfaces such as wood, marble, linoleum, terrazzo, vinyl and asphalt tile.Use extracted equipment, floor scrubbers, shampoo machines and vacuum cleaners.Maintain equipment, materials and supplies in proper condition.Comply with all material safety data sheets and other safety regulations. Attend all safety training classes.Perform the other facilities and custodial duties as requested.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.RequirementsMinimum 21 years of age.Slip resistant shoes.Valid California Driver’s LicenseSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory responsibilities.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
