Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA is seeking staff to perform cleaning and sanitizing duties across casino and hotel facilities. The role involves operating floor care equipment, deep cleaning floors, carpets, and mats, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance issues to EVS leads or supervisors, and performing other duties as directed. A positive guest-service attitude is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service and communication skills are required.
• At least one month related experience is required.
• General understanding of SDS, OSHA requirements, and biohazard cleanup and disposal.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of floor care and cleaning equipment preferred.

• Performs deep cleans of tile floors, bars, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, etc.
• Carpet extraction and floor stripping/waxing tasks.
• Deep cleans floor mats from bars, restaurants, and other locations.
• Record and report major maintenance problems to EVS lead or supervisor.
• Performs special projects as directed and other duties as needed.

Starting wage: $18.15/hr

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes all assigned areas in accordance with company policies, county, state, and federal health requirements including: bars, restaurants, restrooms, guest and back of house areas.
• Operates industrial floor care equipment and other equipment related to this work.
• Performs all high cleaning as required on the interior casino.
• Deep cleans tile floors: bars, restrooms, hallway, lobbies, etc.
• Performs carpet extraction and, hard floor striping and waxing.
• Deep cleans floor mats from the bars, restaurants, and other locations.
• Works in a manner which will cause the least amount of disturbance to the guests, and team members.
• Records and reports any major maintenance problems found and reports them to the EVS lead, supervisor or manager.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.
• Performs special projects as directed.
• Other duties as directed.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation.
