Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Louisiana seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. You will follow procedures, restock supplies, and report safety or maintenance issues while protecting guest privacy and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, strong teamwork, and reliable communication.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to departmental policies regarding guest service standards.
• Deep cleans guest rooms, hallways, and service areas per established standards.
• Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized and attractive.
• Reports safety issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Follows uniform standards and attends department meetings.
• Performs deep cleaning and restocks supplies as needed.
• Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.
• Delivers confidentiality in all company matters.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive.
• Reports any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Adheres to departmental uniform standards.
• Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled.
• Follows established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
• Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned.
• Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned.
• Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.
• Restocks Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions.
• Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Line Cook preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.
