Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a meticulous Housekeeping Attendant to help keep guest rooms and public areas clean and welcoming. You will follow established procedures, restock supplies, and report safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Attendance at department meetings and adherence to uniform standards are expected. This role requires strong customer service, good communication in English, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 months cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guest service standards and policies.
• Deep cleans guest rooms, hallways, and service areas per standards.
• Ensures rooms and public areas are clean, organized, attractive.
• Reports safety issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Adheres to departmental uniform standards.
• Attends all regular departmental meetings.
• Follows protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
• Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned.
• Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned.
• Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.
• Restocks housekeeping carts with supplies and cleaning solutions.
• Reports damage or repair issues in guest rooms or hotel areas to the supervisor.
• Responds to guest requests or directs to appropriate staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality in all company matters.

• Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive.
• Reports any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Adheres to departmental uniform standards.
• Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled.
• Follows established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
• Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned.
• Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned.
• Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.
• Restocks Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions.
• Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work.
• Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others.
• Ability to learn predefined protocols for carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to evaluate the quality of guest area cleanliness.
• Must be able to perform the physical essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
