Job summary

Sysco/ Sygma Portland is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to transport goods from the warehouse to customers across routes, ensuring accurate deliveries and adherence to company standards.

You will operate a tractor-trailer, manage paperwork, and follow DOT regulations. The role requires clear communication, a strong safety mindset, and willingness to work evenings and weekends on overnight schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor trailer driving school acceptable in addition to high school diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL required; insurable to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer and deliver to stores per invoices and standards.
• Complete paperwork per DOT and company guidelines; ensure accuracy of invoices and logs.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols; keep vehicle and trailer clean and organized.
• Build strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
