Job summary

SYGMA Portland is hiring a delivery driver to transport product from the warehouse to customers using a tractor trailer. You will deliver and unload shipments according to invoices and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required; 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer by hand or cart into customer storage areas per company standards.
• Complete all paperwork according to DOT and company guidelines; logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Ensure food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle, warehouse, and yard.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
