Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion seeks a Registered Nurse to provide individualized patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team. You will participate in care planning, resident education, and nursing interventions in a 12-hour shift setting.

The role is full-time with generous night and weekend differentials, a robust benefits package, and a sign-on bonus. Active RN license in the state of practice is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Uphold Nurse Practice Act and ethical standards in practice.
