Job summary

Good Samaritan in Albion, Nebraska, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized care using the nursing process across all phases of health maintenance and treatment. You will coordinate resident care, educate families, and collaborate with the care team in a not-for-profit, faith-based setting.

The role may include charge-nurse responsibilities and delegation to licensed and unlicensed staff, under the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; hold an active RN license.
• State licensure to practice nursing in the state of Nebraska (or NLC multistate).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
