Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating with families and inter-disciplinary team members using the nursing process.

The RN will collaborate with medical staff to plan, implement, and evaluate care, may serve as charge nurse, and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. A license and strong clinical standards are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with resident, family, and interdisciplinary team members to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and adherence to professional standards.
