Job summary

The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Inc (MCCG) is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Navicent Health Medical Center's psychiatric unit in Macon, GA. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with 7a-7p shifts, including weekends and holidays, and comes with benefits eligibility.

You will provide personal care, monitor vitals, assist with transfers, document care, and support a safe, therapeutic patient environment under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: CPR/BLS certification and CNA certification.
• Prior patient-care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for all body systems and daily living activities.
• Assist with pre/post-operative care and monitoring.
• Record intake/output, vital signs and weights accurately.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and transportation of patients.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proper handling of equipment.
