Job summary

EPES Transport, a Penske Logistics company, seeks a Dedicated Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations for dedicated accounts in Greensboro, NC. You will drive profitability via contract compliance, cost control, and growth while ensuring safety and customer goals are met.

The role requires 2 years of transportation operations experience, a HS diploma, and solid computer/dispatch skills. Typical schedule is Mon–Fri with potential extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of transportation operation experience required in fast-paced environment.
• HS Diploma or GED required; experience may waive in certain internal cases.
• Intermediate computer and dispatch skills expected.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule customer shipments as the primary point of contact for day-to-day needs.
• Ensure payroll submissions are accurate and timely in compliance with standards.
• Manage billing processes and resolve discrepancies with customers.
• Engage with drivers to address daily operational concerns and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with PTL to ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Implement and oversee company safety programs and driver coaching initiatives.

Position Summary

This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Supervisor role is manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s), ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM. Occasional mid-shift hours (10:00 AM–7:30 PM) and weekend availability may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule customer shipments to align with service requirements, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll in compliance with company standards.
• Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; collaborate with customers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Engage with drivers to address daily operational concerns, escalating issues as necessary to maintain service quality.
• Partner with PTL to ensure all equipment receives timely preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Implement and oversee company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching initiatives.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant Transportation Operation Experience required, in a fast-paced environment. Operational Experience may be waived if applicable internal experience (ex: Admin).
• HS Diploma / GED required
• Intermediate computer skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
