Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking a Class A CDL regional driver for a 5-day work week with a weekly 34-hour home time reset. The role offers a comprehensive compensation package including CPM, per-load pay, and bonuses, with a regional service area across several Midwest states.

Automatic sleeper trucks, 53' dry vans, and take-home truck privileges are available. Candidates must have a valid CDL, DOT Medical Card, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and active DOT Medical Card are required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A experience within the last 6 months.
• Physical capability to conduct roller hand-unloads at retail stores.
• Satisfactory background check, clean MVR, and ability to pass DOT drug screening (urine and hair).

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic sleeper tractors hauling 53' dry vans.
• Service regional runs through WI, IA, MN, MI, IN, and Northern KY.
• Unloading at delivery stops non-lumper; driver hand-unloads with rollers.

Class A CDL Dedicated Regional Fleet Driver

Schedule: 5-Day Work Week | Weekly 34-Hour Home Time Reset

COMPENSATION BREAKDOWN

• CPM Rate: $0.82 – $0.88 CPM (commensurate with verifiable experience)
• Load Pay: $340 per load
• Backhaul Pay: $25 per backhaul
• Weekly Average: $1,760 (Top 10% earn $1,950+/week)
• Annual Average: $91,310 (Top 10% earn $101,330+/year)
• Bonus: Up to $2,000 summer retention bonus available

ROUTE & CARGO SPECIFICATIONS

• Service Area: Regional runs through Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky
• Freight Handling: Dry freight, approximately 3 turns per week with 3 to 5 stops per load. Unloading involves driver hand-unloading via rollers at delivery stops (no lumper or pallet jack required).
• Equipment Details: Automatic sleeper trucks hauling 53' dry vans. Take-home truck privileges available with safe parking access.
• Home Time & Shifts: Weekly 34-hour reset on weekends (Saturday/Sunday or Sunday/Monday). Shift schedules run Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday.
