Job summary

Coastal Freight and Transportation is seeking a Dedicated Local Driver for a home daily route with 5 days on, 2 days off. You’ll earn an average weekly pay of $1,625–$1,825 and an annual gross around $85,000–$95,000, with comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and a 401K.

Routes are within a 250-mile radius of York, PA, with pre-loaded trailers and steady freight. Expect 2-stop or shorter loads, backhauls on most trips, and automatic day cabs that cannot be

• Must hold a CDL-A and have a clean MVR.
• Solid work history and at least 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to stores with docks.
• Trailers are pre-loaded.
• Operate within a 75-100 mile radius of DC; no NY/NJ.
• Handle dry and frozen groceries on 53', 51' trailers.
• Backhaul to yard; drop and hook 90% of the time.
• Account uses both reefers and dry vans; multi-stop loads typically 2 stops per trailer.

We are looking for Class A, CDL drivers who can appreciate good consistent pay, excellent equipment, and a company that cares.

• Home Daily- 5 Days on 2 Days off
• AverageWeekly Pay -$1,625 to $1,825

POSITION DETAILS:

• Dedicated deliveries to all stores have docks
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 75-100 miles from DC - no NY, NJ areas
• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a '53, OR '51ft trailer
• All freight is palletized
• Drivers will not operate within New York City
• Dedicated steady freight.
• Account utilizes both reefers and dry vans
• Multi-stop loads, usually 2 stops per trailer
• Drivers normally do 2 shorter loads per day or one long load
• Drivers will pick up backhaul to return to yard - drop and hook 90% of the time
• Automaticday cabs that cannot be taken home for time off.

Must have a CDL-A, a solid work history, a clean MVR, and minimum of 3Months of Tractor Trailer Experience in the last year
